Job Summary:
A Fuel Tank Polish & Plumbing operator will be working with a team to load, polish, protect and plumb fuel tanks as they are loaded into the building.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Identify tanks that require polishing, remove them from the racks and load them into the polish lineup.
• Ensure that labels and identifying paperwork stay with their respective tanks.
• Apply protective wrap to polished tanks and load them back into their home position.
• Install fuel tank fittings and accessories according to the supplied build sheet.
• Inspect tanks and plumbing for any defects.
• Help the team perform routine cleaning and maintenance.
• Informs supervisors of supplies needed for polishing, plumbing, cleaning and maintenance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential quality issues are not overlooked.
• Ability to read and install parts according to supplied diagrams.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing and walking.
• Must be physically able bend down to pick up objects.
• Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at a time.
